Would You Wear: Eva's Skyscrapers?

Whoa, mama - Eva Mendes' heels are super sexy, but my feet hurt by just looking at them!
My vote: admire from afar (but definitely rock the Oscar de la Renta dress!)

Alice in Anthro-land

The November catalog for Anthropologie is INSANE. I love the Alice in Wonderland theme. I truly wish there was a rabbit hole that I could fall into every once in awhile... Instead of talking creatures and weird mad hatters, mine would have piles and piles of silk and cashmere that I could dive into and take peaceful naps.

Okay - this little guy could join me too. He reminds me of my turtle, Cecile :)

Oh So Sofia

The Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton collection is simply perfection. Thanks to Sassi Sam, I am absolutely loving the famed director's collaboration with Louis Vuitton for Fall 2010. These bags are timeless - I can see them in rotation for a very long time. I especially love the clutch. I'm a big bag girl, but a chic clutch is a must for everyone.

I love The Virgin Suicides, and now Sofia has given me another reason to keep my eye on her. I heart her style!

Hug My Ankles

How cute/chic/cool/eclectic are these Louis Vuitton giraffe heels from their Spring 2011 collection? I love pieces that are different. Now I don't know if I would necessarily wear these. But for now, I just want to look at them...

What a Look

So I'm browsing through a few lovely blogs, and came across Simply Seductive's post with some fabulous pics of Fall fashion. Inspiration was everywhere! I'm thinking these had to be pulled from Vogue. But nooooooo! Look no further than your local Zara store. Their lookbook is on point! Looks like I need to pay more attention. I only wish their stores were styled the way these pictures are. Everything is so chic... camel, capes and clutches - OH MY!

Spooky Drinks

For those of you who will be entertaining this Halloween, here are a few pics from Martha Stewart that I thought you would enjoy. I'm not a big Halloween fan, but that doesn't mean I can't participate in sampling fun drinks, right??

Berry Scary Martini

Serves 1 -
1 cup ice
1 ounce black vodka
2 ounces cherry juice
Fresh raspberries and blueberries, for garnish

Combine ice, vodka, and cherry juice in a cocktail shaker; shake vigorously. Pour into a martini glass. Thread raspberries and blueberries onto a cocktail skewer, and place in drink. Serve immediately.

For all recipes and other fun Halloween ideas, visit Martha's Halloween Central.

Missing Girlfriends

I was having a real girlfriends moment this morning. Not my close friends, though I heart each and every one of them :)

I'm talking about Girlfriends - the now cancelled show that was written by the very talented Mara Brock Akil (who is now a consulting producer and writer for the hilarious Cougar Town).

Besides the laughs and heartfelt issues, I loved the fashion sense of Joan - played by the adorable Tracee Ellis Ross. I was more impressed to find that her character's style was just a mere mirror of Tracee's own personal style. She always dazzles at red carpet events and launches. So eclectic and chic. And don't get me started about her hair! I can't wait to see what her next project is.

You've Hit the Right Key

I adore statement pieces. It doesn't matter if it's big ruffles, a chunky necklace, or a to-die-for bag, it's great to have or wear something that most people wouldn't think to wear; a piece or two that makes the entire outfit.

That's how I feel about the Kate Spade All Typed Up Clyde. It's too fun of a bag to pass up! I wouldn't wear it all of the time - just those days I feel carefree... like skipping around town with the girls, browsing through vintage shops while grabbing a drink or two along the way. Now, I just need to find someone to get it for me ;-)

Falling for Fushia

Whether it's a full room, one wall, or a few accents, I am loving the look of fushia in a room. When I saw these pics on Elle Decor, I had to post them. I automatically thought of complements of grey and turquoise. How fun would it be to relax or entertain with those lively colors?

Neck Candy

I have big hair, so earrings are usually hidden within the forest of my tresses. So I love, Love, LOVE a great necklace! Sometimes a little neck candy can really make an outfit.
