Finally, an electric car available to the masses. And just how long did it take?! Nevertheless, we now have a chic and eco-friendly way to travel about town - Nissan's Leaf.
It can travel up to 100 miles before it has to be recharged. For more tidbits, you can read an informative article here.

How Majestic
For some reason, this room feels like it was meant for a modern day queen. I love the tall windows, the mix of colors and fabrics, the antique chandelier, and even the bar cart. I would love to kick my heels up here!

For the Love of Weekends
YESssssssss!!! The weekend is finally here. Work has been EXTRA trying, so I am embracing the next two days off.
This flower pin spoke volumes when I saw it. It was just what I needed... a friendly reminder :)

Hang It Up
I had to post this Wire Tree I saw on Design Sponge :)
I'm loving everything about this pic: the color on the wall, the pop of orange in the boots, the stereo bag, and of course the wire tree itself! Wouldn't you just love to hang your coat (and maybe your troubles) on this rack at the end of a hard days work??

Fall is Here!
Tomorrow is the first official day of Fall. The irony is that it's forcasted to be about 90 degrees in the Northeast. And I don't care! I adore Fall. In addition to the fashion, I love this season of change. The shedding of the old in preparation for something new, different, and even more beautiful... it's absolutely wonderful :)
Below are my picks from J.Crew's October catalog. Enjoy!

Yay for Pom Poms
A few weeks ago, I blogged about some baby shower decorating ideas. While I enjoy making handmade crafts, sometimes you find yourself in a time/money crunch. You have to shop around, buy supplies and dedicate time - and patience - to get the job done right.
Well, I was glad to stumble upon PomLove featured on Coco + Kelley.
It's a one-and-done deal - they provide paper pom kits with 100% recycled paper. So for a reasonable price, you get instructions on how to make big, fabulous (and quite professional) looking pom poms. Yes, I know we're just talking pom poms here. But how much more fun would your next party be with these bad boys?

What a Book!
I recently read The Art of Racing in the Rain. What a great read! It was one of those books that I couldn't put down. I actually had to take a break towards the end just to prolong the fact that it would be done sooner than I wanted it to be. It was simple, yet inspiring and profound. In that sense, it reminded me of my all-time favorite - The Alchemist. Do yourself a favor and read both :)

Dream Job
One of my favorite stores - ever - is Anthropologie. As soon as I walk up to the door, I am greeted by a delightfully smelling candle. I could spend hours there - if I could, I would bring a book and a pillow, and play dress-up while taking breaks to read. The store is cozy, comfortable, and eclectic. And I always want to walk out with half the store, and I am equally impressed with the decor as I am with the clothes.
Well, Elle Decor has a feature on Keith Johnson, the professional antiques buyer who is responsible for stocking and furnishing Anthro stores. The pics of his NYC apartment are TO DIE FOR!!! This man has serious taste, and I'm not mad!
The Sundance Channel even has a show, Man Shops Globe, where they follow Johnson on his international shopping expeditions. The perfect job indeed...
Seriously, all of this is housed under one roof. Is that even possible??? Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous...

Lovely Food
I love food. I do... I really do.
Ever notice how the thought of your favorite dish can make your mouth water? But it's seldom you may remember the presentation of the food. The dishware, the glaze that's been carefully drizzled, the perfectly picked piece of parsley (try saying that five times in a row :)
It's no wonder that I was drawn to the photography of Virgina MacDonald. Thanks to Decor 8, I can add these fabulous images to my memory bank as food done right.
